The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documented today, July 10, the deaths of 17 individuals in various incidents across several cities, including killings, security raids, revenge attacks, and assassinations with sectarian and political backgrounds.

According to the documentation: One person was killed in Yarmouk Camp, south of Damascus, by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle, amid accusations against him of committing violations against civilians.

Another man was killed by unidentified gunmen in the vegetable market in the city of Al-Mayadin, eastern Deir ez-Zor, in a revenge-related incident.

Three young men were shot dead by security forces in the city of Jableh, west of Latakia, during separate raids targeting homes and youths on motorcycles.

A civilian was shot dead in the Bab Qibli neighborhood of Hama city by unidentified gunmen on two motorcycles. The victim was known for his ties to the former regime’s security branches.

A man was killed in Idlib city after being directly shot, amid previous accusations of collaboration with the former regime. The perpetrators remain unknown.

A man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle while irrigating farmland near the village of Al-Diyabiya in western Homs countryside.

Another civilian was killed when unidentified gunmen stormed his home at 5 a.m. in the Al-Midan neighborhood of Damascus.

A young man from the Rwiset Al-Mandara area of Safita city was shot dead by members of the Al-Safsafa checkpoint in Tartous countryside while trying to cross into Lebanon in search of work.

Two civilians were killed by direct gunfire from an armed group in Homs city while on their way to the vegetable market. Both victims were from the village of Ain Al-Karoum in western Hama countryside.

A young man was stabbed multiple times with a sharp object inside his sister’s home in the city of Muadamiyat Al-Sham, Damascus countryside, by an unknown assailant. The motives remain unclear.

A goldsmith was killed after an armed assailant stormed his shop in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood of Homs and shot him with a handgun, apparently during a robbery.

A man nicknamed “The Raid Beast” was shot dead inside his real estate office in the Salah Al-Din neighborhood of Aleppo, after unknown gunmen stormed the office and opened fire directly.

A young man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen near the Al-Huriyat Palace in Daraa al-Balad, allegedly due to his previous work with the Fourth Division.

An elderly man was killed with multiple gunshots after being abducted at dawn from his workplace at a block factory in the Ashira neighborhood. His body was later dumped on the Al-Sittin Road in Homs city.
