Funeral ceremony of Anti-drug martyrs begins in NE Syria

In the cities of Derik, Qamishlo, and Hasaka, families of martyrs and hundreds of families gathered since the morning in front of both the National Hospital in Derik, and the morgues of Qamishlo and Hasaka to receive the bodies of martyrs of the Internal Security Forces who were martyred as a result of the Turkish occupation army’s bombing of the Anti-Narcotics Academy in Derik countryside, on 8 This October.

Upon receiving the bodies, the slogans glorified the martyrs “With our soul and blood, we redeem you, martyr,” and others calling for revenge for them, “We will not leave your blood on the ground,” and “We will not let your blood be in vain.”

They carried the coffins of the martyrs that were decorated with their pictures, and a model of a pigeon, so that the processions of the martyrs would now set off towards the shrines of the martyr Khabat, the martyr Dalil Sarukhan, and the martyr Djawar in the cities of Derik, Qamishlo, and Hasaka, respectively, where the central ceremonies would be held for 23 martyrs in the three shrines, and other crowds would wait for them to hold a central ceremony.

In the shrine of the martyr Khabat in the city of Derik, a ceremony is held for the martyrs (Adnan Youssef, Suleiman Antar, Khin Rij Tami, Moaz Atta, Ahmed Al-Khader, Muhammad Al-Aswad, Abdul Aziz Ali, Yazan Al-Kajjo, Muhammad Khaled, and Abdul Wahid Al-Ahmad), their bodies will be buried in the shrines of the martyr Khabat and the martyr Aqab Al-Aswad in Tal Kochar.

In the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan in the city of Qamishlo, a ceremony will be held for the martyrs (Ahmed Khaled Al-Ali, Saleh Al-Dandush, Bassam Al-Hussein, Alan Nazim, Mahmoud Al-War, Fayyad Al-Hadmul, and Muhammad Shamdin) from the people of (the city of Qamishlo and the districts of Tirbespiyê and Tal Hamis), after which their bodies were buried in the shrines of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan and the martyr Dilshir in the village of Doker in the Tirbespiyê district, and the shrine of the martyrs in Tel Hamis.

At the shrine of the martyr Djawar in the city of Hasaka, a ceremony will be held for the martyrs (Lawrence Suhail Abdi, Manaf Saud Samir, Saleh Abdel Ghafour Youssef, Iskandar Hasso, Aziz Ali Abdo, and Abdullah Hassan Aliwi) from (the districts of Al-Arisha, Al-Hol, Tal Brak, and the city of Hasaka),heir bodies are buried in the Shrine of the Martyr Djawar, the Shrine of the Martyrs of Al-Shaddadi, and the Shrine of the Martyrs in Tel Hamis.

At 11:00, a central ceremony will be held for the two martyrs (Orhan Maho and Ali Othman) in the shrine of the martyr Dijla, south of the city of Kobani.
