Demonstration in Raqqa denouncing international conspiracy and occupation of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi

Today, hundreds of Raqqa residents, representatives of civil and military institutions, women’s organizations, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the Raqqa Civil Council, and the people’s councils in Raqqa and its countryside, participated in a demonstration denouncing the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and Turkey’s occupation of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi.

Upon arriving at Al-Naim Roundabout, the demonstrators observed a minute of silence to remember the souls of the martyrs. Then a member of the office of the Zenobia Women’s Gathering, Sherin Ghaws, gave a speech in which she said, “First of all, we salute the historical resistance of leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali, and we recalls all the martyrs, and we bow in reverence to them, and we salute the resistance of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi".

Sherin Ghaws added, "We, the people of NE Syria, will remain in the squares until the physical freedom of leader Ocalan is achieved and we will escalate our struggle according to the slogan (There is no life without the leader), because his freedom is the guarantee of peace in the Middle East and the world."

The demonstration ended with chants of "There is no life without the leader".
