People of Aleppo slam International conspiracy, call for Leader's physical freedom

Hundreds of residents and members of civil institutions and political parties gathered in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods in the western part of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo to denounce the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The demonstrators carried pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and banners reading, “With will and resistance, we will fail the conspiracy against Leader Apo,” “Down with all international conspiracies and Barzanian betrayals, and victory for the Guerrilla resistance.”

The demonstration moved through the main streets of the neighborhood, chanting the slogans “There is no life without the leader” and “Long live the resistance to the leader,” reaching the cemetery square in the eastern part of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood.

The demonstrators observed a minute of silence to the souls of the martyrs

The co-chair of the General Council of the Sheikh Maqsoud and Achrafieh neighborhoods, Walaat Mamo delivering a speech in which he referred to the resistance shown by the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali prison, and said: “The leader did a lot for the people, and sought to achieve their freedom, He rejected the occupations imposed by capitalist countries and the obliteration of identities, so they hatched an international conspiracy against him.”

He added: "We must not calm down, remain in the squares and fight. We must follow the qualities of all the martyrs and follow the approach of (resistance is life) launched by the resisting martyr Mazloum Dogan."

He added: "Because he supported women and fought for their liberation, broke the restrictions of the male mentality on them, and organized their movement and ranks, that is why, they are still imposing strict isolation on him."

As for the member of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Zainab Habash, she touched on an overview of the conspiracy, saying: “Today marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the start of the great conspiracy against the leader. It began with his departure from Syria, where he remained for twenty years."

She continued: “The leader has a project to reunite and live a free life dominated by brotherhood and coexistence, in the face of the projects of authoritarian regimes.”

On behalf of the initiative, it called on free and freedom-seeking peoples and human rights organizations to break their silence, take a clear position on this conspiracy, and work to put pressure on the Turkish state to end the isolation against the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The demonstration ended with the slogan "There is no life without the leader."
