The heads and secretaries-general of the Kurdish parties in NE, Syria assessed to ANHA's agency the Turkish occupation attacks on the region and its vital facilities.

Dealing a blow to security and stability

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, Talal Mohammad, said: “The Turkish state is hostile to the aspirations of the Kurdish people, and always creates weak arguments that are far from the facts to attack them and implement its goals in northern Syria.”

Talal Mohammad stated that the Turkish occupation targets, with its barbaric attacks, populated areas, service infrastructure such as electricity, oil and gas stations, and places where civilian workers work, indicating that the goal of all of this is to empty the region of its population to implement its projects to change the demographics of the region, and to undermine the people’s confidence in the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

He pointed out that the crimes committed by the Turkish state fall within the category of crimes against humanity and war crimes, and violate international norms and laws, since the victims who lost their lives were civilians.

Mohammad denounced the silence of international powers, especially the international coalition, and said that this problem can no longer be solved with statements, but rather other serious steps must be taken by international powers to stand seriously in the face of Turkish attacks and expose their practices before international institutions, and the UN Security Council must take a decision to deter Turkey. .

Talal Mohammad called on the political parties in Rojava to work together at the diplomatic level to put pressure on international powers to stop Turkey from these practices, and added: “Turkey wants to strike a blow to security, peace and stability in the region, so it requires the Syrian national forces to also unify their position to stand up to Turkish practices.”

AANES is a place of pride and dignity

The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Communist Party, Najm al-Din Mulla Omar, stressed that the Autonomous Administration, with its weight, the cohesion of its components, and its small geographical area, is a place of security and coexistence, a place of brotherhood of oppressed peoples, a place of pride and dignity for our people. Therefore, regimes near and far, fascist in mind, want to thwart it, do not want it to develop. This entity and role model for freedom and democracy.

He described the Turkish attacks as "fascist attacks" and explained that they "target humanity, peace and stability in the region, and target peace between peoples, and are subject to condemnation and denunciation."

Since the founding of the Turkish Republic, its attacks have not stopped

Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, Joan Seko, said: Turkey's pretexts for attacking NE, Syria and linking them to Ankara's attack are weak, and it has previously used the Istanbul attack as an excuse and launched an aggression against our regions. He added: "They are following the same scenario in their attacks by targeting service facilities, and the goal is to degrade the region." "Under threat and danger."

Seko explained that the goal of the Turkish state in targeting people and facilities is to change the demographics of the region and displace and starve its people, as happened previously during the occupation attack on Afrin, occupied Girê Spi/Tal Abyed and Serêkaniyê/ Ras al-Ain. He considered this a “genocide” committed by Turkey in light of suspicious international silence, and he said that it is subject to condemnation and denunciation. .

He explained that since the founding of the Turkish Republic 100 years ago, its attacks have not stopped, and these attacks do not only target NE, Syria, or target the Autonomous Administration entity only. A few days ago, it targeted Sulaymaniyah, and is hostile to the Kurdish people in Rojava and Southern Kurdistan.

He stated that Turkey does not like to see any Kurdish entity, and always accuses the Kurds of what is happening inside Turkey. It previously accused them of orchestrating the Istanbul bombing, and today it accuses the Kurds in Rojava of planning the Ankara bombing. If it had been able, it would have accused the Kurds of causing the earthquake on February 6.

Joan Seko confirmed their support for the Syrian Democratic Forces, and called on the Kurds, Arabs, Armenians, and Syriacs to rally around the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Attempt to occupy the rest of Rojava

For his part, the Secretary of the Kurdish Roj Democratic Party in Syria, Kofan Kanao, stated that "the Turkish state is a barbaric state that lives on the blood of peoples, targeting the Kurdish people in particular."

He added, "The occupation of the cities of Afrin, Serêkaniyê, and Girê Spi did not cure its suffering, so today it wants to occupy the rest of Rojava. The goal is to exterminate the Kurds, remove them from their historical lands, and implement its plan for demographic change."

He noted that the Turkish occupation state does not differentiate between Rojava and Southern Kurdistan in its brutal attacks, and wants to spread fear among the Kurdish people in order to displace them and then spread chaos in the region.

Kanao condemned the silence of the Global Coalition and international forces regarding the Turkish attacks every time, and said: “They also remained silent when occupying the city of Afrin, Serê Kaniyê, and Girê Spi.”

He called on the people and political parties to rally around the Syrian Democratic Forces.

He explained that the stage requires the union of the Kurdish people in Rojava and Southern Kurdistan, “The Kurds must be confident and fully aware that enemies will not become friends, and that they (the enemies) want to end the Kurds and exterminate them in the four parts of Kurdistan, so we appeal to the Kurdish political forces and movement to abandon their narrow agendas aside and unite to work together to deter attacks by the Turkish state."
