SDC calls on Syrians to carry out their national duty against “aggression of the terrorist state”

This came during a written statement issued by the Council, in response to the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on energy installations and vital facilities in NE, Syria, which have continued since yesterday.

The statement said at its beginning: “The Syrian Democratic Council condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the hostile attacks of the state of terrorism and the Turkish occupation on the regions of NE, Syria, which have not stopped since yesterday until this moment through military aircraft and drones on energy installations and vital facilities in an unprecedented hostile and brutal manner, committing war crimes.” Countless, these attacks left many victims and martyrs, including civilian and military construction workers, in a clear and clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”

It added: “The Council, while emphasizing its categorical rejection of violent methods and hostile attacks, points out that the Turkish allegations about the perpetrators of the recent Ankara attack crossing the regions of NE, Syria are incorrect, as stated by Mr. Mazloum Abdi, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces in this regard, and the Council considers that these claims and allegations are nothing but weak and dangerous arguments for the fate of the peoples of the region. Their goals are to undermine the security and stability achieved by the Global Coalition Forces against ISIS/Daesh in cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces, and to create a suitable environment for ISIS to reorganize itself and carry out new terrorist acts, posing a real threat to international security and peace. And to ensure its expansionist colonial policies, and to implement the processes of ethnic cleansing and demographic change, and to occupy and annex more Syrian lands.”

In its statement, the Syrian Democratic Council called on “the international community to condemn the Turkish hostile attacks and hold it accountable for the war crimes it is committing in Syria,” and called on the United States and Russia, the “guarantors,” to carry out their responsibilities, not allow Turkey to export its crises, and the need for it to respect the sovereignty and borders of neighboring countries.

It also called on "all Syrians to stand together and carry out their national duty against the aggression of the terrorist state and the Turkish occupation against NE, Syria."
