“Security Enhancement" foiled one of plans against NE Syria

Tribal notables and religious figures in Qamishlo Canton confirmed that the “Security Enhancement” operation foiled one of the plans hatched against NE Syria, stressing that they bear their responsibilities alongside the SDF, in standing against any attempt to tamper with the security and stability of the region.

Notables and religious figures in the Amuda district of Qamishlo Canton made a statement to public opinion.

At the outset, the statement touched on the victories achieved by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and their defeat of ISIS, starting from Kobani, passing through Tabqa and Raqqa, all the way to Deir ez-Zor. And for the sacrifices made by the people in NE Syria, and the efforts made by the Syrian Democratic Forces to eliminate the remaining ISIS cells, and to protect the residents of the region from its danger.

The statement noted that the victories of the Syrian Democratic Forces over ISIS mercenaries thwarted the ambitions and plans of many parties, so the enemies of the people in NE Syria are looking for opportunities to exploit them and attack the region and push it into a civil war, and this is what we witnessed recently in Deir ez-Zor.

The statement stressed that the "Security Enhancement" operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces on August 27 thwarted the plans that were being hatched against the region, and all their efforts to create a civil war.

The statement stressed that all the tribes of NE Syria, regardless of their differences and diversity, stand together in the face of any plans targeting the people of the region and their military forces. “We are in NE Syria with our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces, we will bear our responsibilities alongside our forces in the face of any plan targeting the security and stability of our regions".
