According to a source from Rajo district, the mercenaries of the "Military Police" affiliated with the Turkish occupation kidnapped Bakr Rashid Miqdad (70 years old), from his village, Qara Baba, in Rajo district in the occupied Afrin canton on August 21.

According to the source, Miqdad was kidnapped upon his arrival in his village, after he believed the false calls of the so-called Kurdish National Council (ENKS),regarding his return to occupied Afrin.

The same source confirmed that Miqdad's fate is still unknown.

Turkey and its mercenaries have occupied Afrin since March 2018, and caused the displacement of more than 400,000 people from the canton, who were distributed in camps established by the Autonomous Administration, and in separate areas in al-Shahba, Aleppo, the Euphrates region, and Jazera.
