Politicians: Inaction of international powers exacerbates Syrian crisis

The Civil Rights activist, Mariana Ali, expressed via ANHAagency, her indignation at the crimes of the Turkish occupation state, and indicated that Turkey is an occupying state and an old enemy: "After they left our country after 400 years of occupation and oppression, they still have the desire to occupy, and they think that this land and whoever is on it is theirs."

Ali emphasized that Turkey's policy in the occupied territories is nothing but a policy of displacement, demographic change, and theft of land resources, and she explained: "Turkey wants to change the political map of the region."

Regarding the double dealings of international forces and organizations in wars between regions, she explained: “ In the Ukrainian-Russian war, the doors of asylum were opened to the Ukrainians, As for the Syrian youth, they are now dying by drowning and land, amid the silence of the organizations on this matter.”

Ali stressed, "The United Nations claims not to participate in political matters because it is a humanitarian organization, knowing that it is immersed up in the political issue."

"The silence of international powers is shedding blood"

Mariana Ali noted that the goal of the Turkish occupation is to steal economic goods, social oppression and political dominance, and added: "The silence of the international community sheds blood daily, delays the Syrian solution, prolongs the life of the occupation, and steals Syrian capabilities."

She stressed the need to document the crimes of the Turkish occupation by human rights institutions concerned with this matter, and by lawyers and civil activists.

Regarding the exit of the Turkish occupier from the Syrian lands, Mariana said: "If efforts are multiplied, and our goal is the freedom of the homeland, there will be no occupation Just as it left our land after 400 years, it will also leave now from all of NE Syria."

In turn, the general official of the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in Aleppo, Fadi Ismail, said: "The Turkish occupation seeks to Turkify the region of Syria."

He said, "The Turkish currency is in circulation in the occupied areas, the names of streets and regions are Turkified, which is not new to Turkish policies in northern Syria."

Ismail added: "All of us are well aware of the previous Turkish policies. Turkey after the Syrian crisis occupies large areas of the Syrian territory, and it seeks, through the Milli Pact to annex Aleppo and Mosul to Turkish lands."

Ismail stressed the need to conduct periodic statistics within the occupied territories, and said: "Suicides, theft, and so on have increased in the occupied territories."

About the Turkish exit from northern Syria, Ismail regrets that there is no international consensus on this matter, especially by countries supporting "terrorism" in the world, and he said: "The state of chaos relieves the enemy, as it seeks to create more chaos on the Syrian geography in the occupied north."

Ismail confirmed the existence of negligence on the part of all countries of the world regarding the crimes committed in northern Syria, and noted: "Until now, the countries of the world have not made an explicit statement about Turkish occupation in northern Syria."

The administrator of the Democratic Union Party in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, Ali Mustafa Muhammad, explained that: "We must realize that the policy of the Turkish occupation is not new on the ground, as it is a systematic policy throughout history."

He noted that there is a media blackout of the crimes committed by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state on the occupied lands against the indigenous citizens in the occupied areas.

Regarding Turkey's attempts to hide evidence of his crimes, Ali said: "The Turkish occupier is trying, through its economic, military and political policy to impose its hegemony over those areas to prevent any documentation of these crimes.

On the other hand, Ali described the international human rights organizations as complicit with the occupier, and said: "In light of the silence of the international forces that we are witnessing on the ground, we find that those international human rights organizations are complicit not only with their silence, even with their non-existent reactions, and their failure to help them find solutions."
