Today, the Autonomous Administration, in coordination with the Kurdish Red Crescent, received the bodies of 11 citizens from the regions of NE Syria, who drowned off the Algerian coast, while trying to cross to Europe, on June 5.

The Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous AANES and the Kurdish Red Crescent were in coordination with the governments of Algeria, Lebanon and Syria to deliver the bodies to their families.

According to the information obtained by ANHA correspondent, 8 of them are from the city of Kobani and 3 from Qamishlo.

Since about 09:00, on Friday morning, a delegation from the Civil Administration of the Euphrates and Jazera regions and the Kurdish Red Crescent came with the families of the victims to receive the bodies. After receiving the bodies, they went to Qamishlo and Kobani.
