​​​​​​​Pavel Talabani: We will continue to work to achieve national unity

The Head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK), Pavel Talabani, sent a written message at the international forum held in the city of Hasaka, under the title "Lausanne: Correcting Paths and Issues of Regional Stability and Security", sponsored by NRLS.

Talabani began his message, which was read by a member of the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies (NRLS), Beritan Mustafa, and expressed his happiness and pride in participating in the forum.

The text of the message stated: "We bless the efforts made to shed light on the treaty concluded against the Kurds, as well as the efforts of the organizers and participants in the forum."

The Kurds faced genocide on various levels, nearly 100 years ago. This treaty came at the expense of the Kurdish people, their geography, and their culture. The Kurds have always struggled to guarantee their rights, but unfortunately, they have become victims of global interests. However, the resistance of this people has preserved its existence and its geography despite the division it witnessed.

The enemy is constantly trying to occupy Kurdistan and eliminate the history of its people, but let this enemy know that the Kurdish people will remain like the high and majestic mountains of Kurdistan and will not submit, and all the powers of the world must know that war is not our demand, and that we are against all wars.

Our goal has always been to live on our geography with freedom and dignity, so we in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan continue and continue to reach the national unity that Mam Jalal Talabani appealed to, and we assure the Kurdish people today that the stage is the stage of closing ranks.

Pavel Talabani called on everyone to unify their political visions in favor of the Kurdish cause.
