There is no life without the leader...! If there is life, it must be with the leader, otherwise it is meaningless, especially for every believer in issues of freedom, for every Kurd who fights for justice, equality, and freedom.

Yes, there is no life without the leader, a slogan launched by the fighters of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in the face of the policies of the forces of global domination that are practiced against them, and against the tricks of world leaders and rulers, who planned a dirty international conspiracy against the leader Ocalan more than twenty years ago from now, and this slogan was transformed later to a philosophy of free life in Kurdistan, and it became the path followed by all seekers of truth for which hundreds of people sacrificed their lives throughout history.

The policies of the global regime of repression, genocide, and injustice towards the Kurdish people, their cause, and their leaders continue without stopping. The Kurdish people are exposed to various violations, policies of isolation, and plans to eliminate their free struggle, through abuse and displacement from their land, and the implementation of policies of Turkification and demographic change against their people in all their regions, amid the continuation of policies the strict, illegal, humanly and morally unacceptable isolation on leader Ocalan.

Of course, all these violations are a systematic policy and strategy by the regime of global domination, practiced and still are against the Kurdish people by the Turkish regime.

The reason behind this is that the Kurdish people have a free and strong will, so their enemies are trying to strike this will and eliminate its ideological organization and its democratic project, which seeks to resolve all outstanding issues in the region, as the only hope for humanity on the way to its salvation from all the massacres at the hands of the lurking rulers.

In response to these dirty plots; Hundreds of heroic fighters in the Kurdistan movement made great sacrifices to stand up to these policies and attacks targeting the Kurdish presence and leader Ocalan in all arenas of struggle in and outside Kurdistan, and in the various difficult circumstances the movement went through, adopting the slogan "There is no life without the leader."

Comrade Zainab Kanaji, known as Zilan, is one of the leading fighters who decided to fight the battle of free life in the face of global imperialist policies that targeted the Kurdish people in the person of the leader  and all the advocates of humanity who thirst for freedom.

Comrade Zilan carried out a commando operation on June 30, 1996 in the city of Dersim in northern Kurdistan, dealing a fatal blow to the enemy and the fascist mentality structure, Zilan expressed her will to the freedom of leader Apo and her loyalty to his liberation struggle, through this process when she blew itself up in the face of the enemies, as a definitive and frank response to their practices and massacres.

With her commando operation, which became internationally famous, Comrade Zilan spread terror and fear in the hearts of the enemies, and she was able to do so thanks to the will, determination and persistence that she possessed in her heart gained from the strength of leader Apo's analyzes and his philosophy of life and freedom and the concept of free life and the free individual and his constructive role in society, it opened the way for a new phase in the Kurdish struggle against fascist domination and capitalist regimes hostile to the Kurdish cause.

Zilan, the Kurdish fighter who shattered all the familiar theories about Kurdish women, and was able through her intellectual and organizational struggle to send a clear and strong message to the whole world that in order to achieve a free life, a mighty struggle, strength, determination and faith must be waged, and in order to liberate women from the slavery in which they live, it is necessary of fighting a great battle.

Zilan says in one of the famous phrases included in a message she left for us, "I want to fulfill my people's desire for freedom in the face of the policy of imperialism that wants to turn women into slaves.

Zilan revealed the ability of every woman fighter in herself to turn into an army that explodes in the face of the enemy, if she knows how to organize her energies, read the interim developments, and determine the correct goal that affects the political balances and confuses the enemy.

Today, we are going through a sensitive and difficult phase, with the continuous Turkish attacks against our people in all four parts of Kurdistan. Everyone must show the spirit that Zilan has shown in her struggle, and the heroic stances she has shown in the face of enemies and mentalities that try to exclude the Kurdish people and target the struggle and efforts of women.

Despite the passage of 27 years since the implementation of her commando operation, the spirit of Zilan and the echo of the operation she carried out still echoes in the minds of everyone, and it became the manifesto of free life in Kurdistan.

Zilan said in one letter, that free life is possible with the freedom of leader Ocalan, and there is no life without him at all, and that requires struggle and self-sacrifice in the most difficult circumstances and stages against all plans of political extermination that target the Kurdish people in the entire region.
