Health Body calls on International Community to intervene over targeting Tal Rifaat Hospital

The Health Body issued a statement condemning the bombing of the Tel Rifaat district hospital in al-Shahba this afternoon.

The statement read:

"For more than five years, the Turkish occupation has continued its continuous bombardment of the Al-Shahba areas inhabited by hundreds of thousands of forcibly displaced civilians.

 In the recent period, the attacks by the Turkish occupation state have intensified with drones and artillery shells. Today, in the afternoon, the occupation state breached all international and humanitarian laws when it targeted Tel Rifaat Hospital, wounding four civilians, including a member of the medical staff.

The statement called on "the international community to put pressure on the Turkish occupation state to stop its brutal attacks."

According to the statement the injured are: Mukhlis Ahmed Naasan, 25 years old, Abdullah Abdul Rahman Murad, 40 years old, Muhammad Hamid, 45 years old, and Mustafa Hassan, 27 years old, while two in critical condition.
