YRK: Iranian reinforcements in Kosalan district of Mariwan

The General Command of the Eastern Kurdistan Units (YRK), confirmed that the Iranian authorities have brought hundreds of military vehicles, backed by ground forces, to the Kosalan area in Mariwan.

Today, the General Command of the Eastern Kurdistan Units YRK issued a statement to the public about the Iranian state's attacks in Kosalan.

It reads: "Despite the cessation of military operations by our forces, the Iranian forces brought hundreds of personnel and military vehicles, and prevented the people of the Kosalan area from leaving".

And indicated that the Iranian forces launched an attack on their forces.

And added, "The Iranian state bombed the Kosalan area with heavy weapons, mortars, and Katyushas, on June 13-14, and our forces responded to the attack, which led to the death and injury of a number of Iranian forces".

General Command of YRK stated, "No harm was caused to our forces in this attack, while material damage was caused to the region, and there are dangers on our people in Hawrman".
