​​​​​​​Zainab Qambar: AANES initiative opens horizons of dialogue between Syrians

On April 18, the Autonomous Administration o NE Syria launched an initiative to solve the Syrian crisis, consisting of nine items, in which it focused on ending the suffering of the Syrian people, and emphasized the unity of the Syrian territories, while calling on the Damascus government to show a responsible position regarding what the country has been exposed to.

Commenting on this, the administrator of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, Zainab Qambar, said that the initiative launched by the Autonomous Administration with its nine clauses, which stipulated finding a solution to the Syrian crisis, resonated in the Syrian street.

Qambar spoke about the Syrian crisis that has been going on for more than 12 years, pointing out that the Autonomous Administration's launch of the initiative at this time is for the benefit of the Syrian people."

She said, "It also corresponds with what we have proposed to find a solution to the Syrian crisis through the Syrian-Syrian dialogue." She indicated that the initiative preserves the rights of the Syrian people as a whole.

Qambar expressed her belief in "the unity of all the components of the Syrian homeland," explaining, "This initiative carries with it many meanings and opens the door to dialogue for Syrian patriots, democrats and all personalities who carry the Syrian concern towards a solution and open a dialogue with the Syrian government for solutions satisfy all the components of the Syrian people."

Zainab Qambar also commented on the role of women in any solution to the Syrian crisis, saying: "Women in the new Syria must have a remarkable presence in all fields, otherwise the solutions will be temporary and unsatisfactory."

The initiative was widely welcomed by the components of the Syrian people, as stated by the administrator of the Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Council, Zainab Qambar, and added: "Our relations and communication were satisfactory, and new horizons opened before us, which we will support with Syrian dialogues, activities, workshops, and women's forums, so that women have a leading role." It also deserves a future within a democratic, pluralistic, and decentralized Syria.
