Tens of thousands of the Jazera region' residents are preparing, after their arrival to the city of Qamishlo, to participate in the public event calling for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and supporting the leftist Green Party in the Turkish parliamentary and presidential elections.

Today, mass crowds from all regions of Jazera region headed to the city of Qamishlo, To participate in the mass activity calling for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The crowds that set out this morning from the cities, villages, and districts of Hasaka Canton gather on Mounir Habib Street, in the city center of Qamishlo, to participate in the mass activity calling for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

As for the people of the cities, districts and towns of Qamishlo Canton, they are now gathering near the March 12 Martyrs' Stadium, to go on foot to the stadium square where the mass activity will be launched, under the slogan (Leader Apo's freedom is an affirmation of democracy and regional stability).

The participants include the people of the cities, districts, towns, and villages of the two Cantons, including Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Armenians, and Circassians, members of civil institutions and political parties in NE Syria, women's movements and organizations, and representatives of institutions, bodies, and councils of democratic autonomous administration in the Jazera region, as well as the sheikhs and notables of Arab and Kurdish clans.

Participants carry pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan and flags of the leftist Green Party.

The crowd chanted slogans saluting the resistance of the leader Abdullah Ocalan (resistance is life), and (there is no life without the leader).
