In appreciation of their sacrifices...French Senate honor YPJ

 The honoring ceremony took place during the Newroz celebration, which is held annually by the Kurdish Businessmen Union in France.

 Yesterday, Saturday, the French Senate honored the spokesmen for the Women and People's Protection Units, Roksana Muhammad and Nuri Mahmoud, in appreciation of the sacrifices and efforts of the Women and People's Protection Units in fighting ISIS and ridding the world of its abomination, by the French Senator, Xavier Ecoville.

 The honoring ceremony, which took place within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to France, was attended by a number of Senate deputies and French politicians.

 He congratulated the attendees on Newroz, drawing attention to the general situation in Rojava and northern and eastern Syria and the attacks the region is exposed to, and stressed that the world and France should support northern and eastern Syria.

 They also referred to the massacre committed on the eve of Newroz (March 20) in Janders, and the demographic changes that the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are making in the occupied areas.

 Noting the responsibility of the international forces for the crimes and violations committed in those areas, and how to put an end to them.

 They also praised women's resistance in northern and eastern Syria, led by the Women's Protection Units in fighting ISIS, and the vanguard role of women throughout Kurdistan, especially in the popular uprising led by women in Rojhelat (East Kurdistan) and Iran, and how the "Jin Jiyan, Azadî" philosophy spread.

 The genocide policies practiced against the peoples coexisting with each other in the region, especially the Kurdish people, were also highlighted, and how to block the way to these policies.
