Families of Imrali's prisoners apply for access

The family of the leader Abdullah Ocalan submitted a request to the Office of the Republican Public Prosecutor in Bursa, and the Directorate of Imrali Prison to meet with them.

The brother of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Muhammad Ocalan, through his client Mazloum Deng, the brother of the detainee Omar Khairy Konar, Ali Konar, the brother of Hamili Yıldırım, Polat Yıldırım, and the sister of Veysi Aktash, Maliha Cetin, submitted a request to the Office of the Republican Public Prosecutor in Bursa in order to meet their relatives.

They also submitted a request to the Imrali Prison Directorate through the Public Prosecution in Bursa for this.

The lawyers submit two requests each week to meet with their client, but the requests are rejected under the pretext of imposing a disciplinary punishment on the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The Turkish authorities impose strict isolation on the Imrali detainees (leader Abdullah Ocalan, Khairy Konar, Hamili Yıldırım, and Yesi Aktash) by refusing them to meet with lawyers and their families.
