Çiya Kurd: Legacy of March 12 represents the main pillar of the July 19th Revolution

Bedran Çiya Kurd said that the Autonomous Administration and the gains of the peoples of northeastern Syria is the legacy of the Qamishlo uprising (March 12), and stressed that this uprising represents the main pillar of the July 19th Revolution.

This came, during the participation of the co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Bedran Çiya Kurd, and the representative of the administration in Europe, Abdul Karim Omar, in the opening ceremony of the headquarters of the North and East Syria community in Switzerland.

Bedran Çiya Kurd said in his speech, "We congratulate our people on the opening of this headquarters, and I hope that the opening of the headquarters will be a start to raise the pace of struggle and work for the community in Switzerland," expressing at the same time that "this headquarters represents the diverse mosaic of North and East Syria."

In his speech, Çiya Kurd referred to the latest developments and developments in the political arena in Syria and the Middle East, while he said, in reference to the Turkish occupation state and the Damascus government, "the regimes that are working against our people are in a miserable stage."

Çiya Kurd touched upon the Autonomous Administration project, saying: "There are many parties in Syria seeking to implement the administration project in their regions, and they see this project as a way to step towards achieving democracy in Syria."

Regarding the Syrian crisis, he noted that all data indicate that radical changes have taken place in some matters in Syria, and that what is certain is that "returning to before 2011 is impossible, and the Syrians do not accept that."

The co-chair of the Department of Foreign Relations in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Çiya Kurd, referred to the diplomatic relations of the Autonomous Administration, saying: "We seek to strengthen relations with everyone," and continued, "We have relations with the active countries in the Syrian file, as well as most of the Western countries, Regular delegations to our regions show the extent of our relations with these countries.
