The President of Egypt Youth Party, Mr. Al-Adli, said that "Although about a quarter of a century on arrest the leader Abdullah Ocalan, but the right of the Kurdish people did not die.  Ocalan and an assumption of symbols are stuck Kurds with their legitimate rights to live in peace."

Al-Adli told our agency, that "Ocalan is no longer a symbol of Turkey's kurds, but an icon around the world."

Al-Adli added: "Turkish intention to hear the demands of Kurds in the region increases the difficulty of the situation and the complexity of the case and new blood. The Kurds are locked in their judgment and the project in peace with the rest of the components of the region", calling for "the need for Ankara and Damascus regimes to reach a just solution to the Kurdish issue."

"The resolution of the Kurdish issue will not be achieved under Erdogan," he stressed that "the continued detention of Ocalan will not resolve the crisis, bring security to Turkey and not praise the Kurds on their legitimate dreams. The case is not an impasse in detention or prison person but it has become an idea and dream of living within all the Kurds who dream of restoring their rights."

He stressed that "despite 24 years on the arrest of Ocalan the slogan of freedom for the leader Abdullah Ocalan and freedom for all prisoners in Turkey and Syria has not died, but alive in most European capitals, as is the case in  such days every year in European cities such as the French city of Strasbourg, the Swiss city of Basel and Luxembourg to put pressure on the European Parliament to take care of the health of Abdullah Ocalan and all Kurdish detainees and to demand the provision of suitable environmental conditions for the detained leader a quarter of a century ago.

Al-Adli stressed that "Abdullah Ocalan; will remain the icon of the Kurdish resistance, calling on the Turkish state to submit to the status quo and recognize the Kurds' right to self-determination and complete the official peace negotiations that began at the end of 2012 between the Turkish state and the PKK, which ended in the spring of  2015".

According to the political researcher, Walaa Abu Steit, the leader Abdullah Ocalan has completed his twenty-fourth year of absence behind the walls of the prison, on Imrali Island, in a Western attempt;  To stop the arrows of his influence.  It aims at more change, not at the level of the Kurdish issue, but rather the issue extends to all peoples and components that existed in the region in addition to the Kurds.

She told our agency, "What Ocalan is exposed to confirms the victory of his ideas. After a quarter of a century of arrest, Ocalan's thought has become an icon in the four countries in which the Kurds are present, and not only that, but his PKK remains the most influential among the Kurds, despite the restrictions imposed on him and the state of ban."  And the distortion it is exposed to, in addition to being targeted by quasi-periodic military operations . Despite that, the party has achieved great gains during the last decade, which is something that is credited to the party's leader and founder, Ocalan.

Walaa believed that "Ocalan, despite all the attempts to isolate him and his ideology, it has become a nation moving on the ground. His ideology has moved large groups and assemblies in a way that serves the great idea in which the goal was to return the Kurdish person in the first place to his value, and he was pointing to  that "those who followed Ocalan's approach succeeded in creating a case that will remain an icon in the biography and history of the Kurds."

She pointed out that the movements of the Kurds and their friends, especially in Europe, may be sufficient in the near future to move the issue in a different way.
