The Damascus government and the Turkish occupation state are still politicizing the humanitarian aid provided by the Autonomous Administration, and this is what hinders the delivery of aid. to help distressed and affected families; As a result of the earthquake at a time when the citizens in those areas are suffering from the exacerbation of the economic crisis.

Regarding the process of bringing aid into the stricken areas, the co-chair of the Media Department of the Autonomous Administration, and a member of the Crisis Cell in the Autonomous Administration, Joan Mulla Ibrahim, said, "The assistance provided by the Autonomous Administration to those afflicted by the earthquake was to northern and western Syria through the two gates; or Umm Jalloud and Aoun al-Dadat, and the al-Tayha crossing towards the areas of the Damascus government.

A day after the earthquake, the Autonomous Administration sent aid towards the Umm Jalloud crossing, loaded with 30 tanks of fuel and aid provided by the people of the region and the organizations working in it.

The aid stopped in front of the Umm Jalloud crossing for five days without a response, despite attempts to bring the aid to the other side, but the Turkish occupation state and its affiliated groups did not respond to the request submitted by the Autonomous Administration to bring the aid inside, and the aid provided by the people was entered. across crossings; At the Umm Jalloud crossing, 53 trucks were entered, and about 86 trucks were entered at Awn al-Dadat, according to Mulla Ibrahim.

Mulla Ibrahim stressed, "The Autonomous Administration will not stand in the way of the entry of humanitarian aid, whether it is to the regions of northwestern Syria or to the regions of the Damascus government, and we provide all facilities, as we stated from the first day of the disaster, that we are ready to provide all aid according to the available capabilities."

He explained, "We apologize to our people, because we could not bring in the aid, as there were means to bring in the aid, but they were prevented from reaching the crossings by the Turkish-backed factions in northwestern Syria," stressing, "We are ready to provide all kinds of aid and we will not hesitate to provide it, but Obstacles hinder our work to bring in aid."

And Mulla Ibrahim stated, "All differences and contradictions must be set aside, and all available energies and capabilities must be mobilized to help our affected people, whether inside Syria or northwest Syria." He added: "We are Syrians, and our main goal is to help our people in Syria in general."

Mulla Ibrahim stressed in the conclusion of his speech, "The international community and humanitarian organizations should direct their efforts to serve the afflicted, and provide assistance at the present time to them; it is very important, and work to open the crossings, whether in the regions of North and East Syria, such as the Tal Koçer crossing, as well as the crossings connecting the regions." The Autonomous Administration and the regions of the Syrian interior.”
