​​​​​​​Qarasu holds Turkey responsible for catastrophic repercussions of earthquake

This came during an interview with ANF News Agency about the earthquake that struck the Bazarjak area in Marash, on February 6, Qarasu stressed that the Turkish state was founded on anti-peoples, and cannot stand by the people in times of disaster, and added that it is possible to prevent the disaster from exacerbating with social support and the efforts of civil society organizations.

Qarasu revealed that the AKP government seized the taxes collected after the 1999 earthquake, so aid should not be provided to the state and disaster and emergency management, as he called on everyone to help the earthquake victims through civil society organizations.

"I would like to thank the volunteers, civil society organizations, municipalities, political parties and worship centers that helped our people during the earthquake phase, pulled them out from under the rubble, provided them with clothes, blankets and tents and tried in every way to meet the needs of those affected,"

 "I also thank the supporters from all over the world, Those who tried to alleviate the suffering of our people," Qarasu added.

Turkey was not prepared for the earthquake, where it thought the quake was small and said, "We are everywhere." An AFAD official said insolently, "Our workers and rescue groups are everywhere." But everything turned out to be the opposite of what they told the people, because they considered it a small thing. You did not contact anyone except the Disaster and Emergency Department, and you did not announce a general alarm, so a great disaster occurred, and in such earthquakes,  AFAD went to several cities and tried to get some people out of the rubble, and this was after 3 days of the earthquake.
