On Thursday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a written statement, which it published on its official website.

At the beginning of the statement, it came: "With the beginning of the humanitarian disaster that befell the region, the Autonomous Administration mobilized its energies to help the afflicted Syrian regions, and as a result, it sent convoys of humanitarian aid, including fuel and urgent medical materials, to the border crossings, whether with the areas of the regime or with the areas occupied by Turkey, But it faced rejection by both parties, and after persistence and efforts made through mediators and channels of communication with the Syrian government, an understanding was reached to send the 100 tankers of diesel fuel to the affected areas, whether Sheikh Maqsoud and al-Shahba areas or areas of the Syrian government as urgent humanitarian aid.

It added, "We will continue this support for other times to meet the needs of the affected people as much as possible in light of these difficult circumstances they are going through, as the position of the Autonomous Administration was clear from the beginning of the disaster, and it showed its willingness to help the afflicted Syrians without discrimination and politicization, we saw that it is only a human and moral duty." At the same time, we extend a helping hand to our people in various Syrian regions.”

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria affirmed, "We in the Autonomous Administration will continue our efforts and determination to work on an urgent response to alleviate the suffering of the affected people, and it also requires all parties to deal with this humanitarian situation impartially and without discrimination and obstruction of humanitarian efforts, and it must fulfill its responsibilities towards the tragic situation."
