A member of the Crisis Cell and the co-chair of the Media Department in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Joan Mulla Ibrahim, said, "The aid convoys that were prepared and provided by the Autonomous Administration in north-eastern Syria for the afflicted people in the city of Aleppo and its countryside are still waiting at the al-Tayha crossing (between Manbij and other areas). He continued: "We tried as much as possible and continued to bring in this aid, and yesterday some channels of communication took care of it and told us that you can enter today, February 15, and since early morning we have been here waiting for what the mediators and the government of Damascus will come up with, and a little while ago we contacted the mediators and they explained to us that the government Damascus, that is, those in charge of work there, did not answer their calls, while making it clear to us that today, too, this aid will not enter.

Mulla Ibrahim added: "In the past, the Damascus government stipulated that it obtain 70% of the allocations allocated by the Autonomous Administration of fuel, in order to enter it into the areas controlled by the Damascus government, and when the communication channels intervened, they did not answer."

It is worth noting that, since February 8, 30 fuel tanks prepared by the Autonomous Administration have been lined up to help the affected areas in northern and western Syria, at the Umm Jalud crossing (between Manbij and the occupied Jarabulus region), and the Turkish occupation state did not grant permission for this batch of aid to cross.

Ibrahim pointed out, "About 146 aid trucks provided by the people in north-eastern Syria crossed to the affected areas in north-western Syria, with facilitation by the Autonomous Administration from the Umm Jalud and Aoun al-Dadat crossings, the two separators (between Manbij and the occupied areas) by the Turkish occupation state, and after Crossing civil aid All means of communication with the other side in north-western Syria have been cut off, and there are only special channels working to bring in this fuel.

Ibrahim said, "We know that the affected areas, whether in north-western Syria or in areas under the control of the Damascus government, are in dire need of fuel, and the lack of this aid indicates the authoritarian mentality of both parties, and their lack of thinking about the suffering of the people."

"When we came to those crossings, we expected that these convoys would not stop and that there would be facilities to bring them in immediately because they needed fuel, but we were shocked, unfortunately, that the crossing permit was not granted to those convoys, so we did not take any decision on the duration of this aid," said Joan Mulla Ibrahim at the end of his statement. But we will continue our attempts to bring them into the affected areas."
