Besieged Sheikh Maqsoud embraces 55 families from areas controlled by Damascus govt

55 families displaced to the temporary shelters which opened by the General Council of the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in Aleppo, from the areas controlled by the Damascus government in Aleppo city, despite the siege imposed by the government on the 2 neighborhoods.

According to the report prepared by the General Council for the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh to count the results of the earthquake in the two neighborhoods, 55 families from the areas of the Damascus government displaced to the temporary shelters opened by the council.

The Council is working to provide all possible requirements to alleviate the suffering of the people affected by the earthquake, at a time when Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods are witnessing an unjust siege imposed by the "Fourth Division" of the Damascus government, for more than 5 months.
