​​​​​​​Political organizations, forces: international positions not risen to humanitarian level towards Syria

 Fifty-seven Syrian organizations and political forces issued a joint statement to the public, United Nations organizations and non-governmental organizations, calling for urgent action to save the lives of Syrians, and work to stop the deterioration of the humanitarian situation for hundreds of thousands of survivors and those affected by the earthquake.

 They called for the opening of international crossings and humanitarian corridors.

 And the statement stated: "Humanity today is in a race against time, and at every moment that passes since writing this appeal, there are lives that are threatened with destruction, as hundreds of injured and Syrian victims are still groaning under the rubble of the horrific earthquake that destroyed entire population areas, despite the Syrians' desperate need for international support."  However, the international positions and initiatives have not risen to the humanitarian level required to deal with the scale of the horrific catastrophe that befell Syria, in which the number of deaths exceeded more than 4,500 victims, and the number is expected to increase at every moment.

 We, the political forces and organizations that sign this appeal, call upon and appeal to the international community, United Nations organizations and non-governmental organizations to take urgent action to save the lives of Syrians trapped among the rubble, and to work to stop the deterioration of the humanitarian situation for hundreds of thousands of survivors and those affected in the open without shelter under the threat of hunger and severe cold and take responsible steps by expediting the dispatch of rescue teams specialized in natural disasters with the necessary equipment, opening international crossings, establishing safe humanitarian corridors and providing medical support and urgent humanitarian aid to contribute to saving people’s lives and human dignity, which is the essence of the principles and values ​​upon which various international covenants and covenants are based.
