892,000 signatures collected to lift leader isolation

The campaign continues to collect signatures demanding the lifting of the strict isolation of the leader Ocalan, which was announced by the Popular Initiative for North and East Syria in coordination with the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of the Leader Abdullah Ocalan, on January 22, under the slogan "The peoples of NE Syria demand the lifting of leader isolation and achieving his physical freedom.

The follow-up committees for this campaign have collected more than 892,000 signatures so far, at the level of the regions of NE Syria, while the campaign is still ongoing.

Afrin and Shahba Cantons

In Afrin and Shahba Cantons, the popular initiative has collected about 30,460 signatures so far.

Raqqa, Tabqa and Deir ez-Zor

In al-Tabqa, more than 100,000 signatures were collected in the sub-districts and villages affiliated to it, according to the member of the Committee for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Tabqa, Mahmoud al-Issa.

According to the co-chair of the General Council in the city of Raqqa, Louay al-Issa, 170,000 signatures collected in the city of Raqqa and its countryside.

In the western region of Deir al-Zor, about 5,841 signatures of the people were collected, according to what was reported by the co-chair of the Executive Council in the Democratic Civil Administration in Deir al-Zor, Fatima Marwan.

While more than 520 signatures were collected in the eastern region of Deir al-Zor, according to what was confirmed by Salam Al-Issa, the spokeswoman for the Youth Office in the Council of the Future Syria Party in the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zor.

Euphrates region

In the Kobani canton, the popular initiative has collected more than 51,000 signatures during the ongoing campaign, according to the co-chair of the Kobani Canton Council, Mustafa Ito.

The spokeswoman of the Committee for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan in Manbij, Asia Al-Hussein, also stated that they have collected more than 120,000 signatures in the city of Manbij to lift the strict isolation on the leader Ocalan.

Jazera region

In Hasaka Canton, about 200,000 people from the villages, towns, districts and cities of the Canton participated in the campaign to collect signatures.

As for Qamishlo Canton, more than 215 thousand signatures have been collected in the villages, towns, districts and cities of the Canton until the moment this news was prepared.

The campaign is scheduled to end on February 15, which coincides with the 24th anniversary of the international conspiracy.
