ENKS blesses the demographic change in occupied Afrin

The Turkish occupation army caused the occupied Afrin canton to displace more than 350 citizens from their homes to al-Shahba canton and the regions of North and East Syria, while the Turkish occupation deliberately settled more than 400,000 mercenaries and their families from various Syrian regions instead of the people of Afrin.

After its occupation, the Turkish occupation established more than (22) settlements in the occupied villages and districts of Afrin, especially in the Yazidi villages.

The crimes of the Turkish occupation were not limited to occupied Afrin only, as the process of establishing settlements continues in the occupied areas in northern Syria, starting from the city of Jarabulus, east of Aleppo, to the city of Idlib, in the west.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation is establishing settlements on agricultural lands belonging to the Kurdish citizens of Afrin, after cutting down the perennial olive trees on their land.

On the fifth anniversary of the occupation of Afrin canton, the head of the so-called "Kurdish National Council ENKS," Abdul Hakim Bashar, blessed the establishment of settlements by the Turkish occupation, with support and funding from Gulf, Palestinian and European organizations, on the property of the displaced from Afrin in the occupied canton of Afrin.
