With the continuation of the siege imposed by the Fourth Division of the Damascus government on the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud, Al-Ashrafiya, and the Al-Shahba district, and preventing the entry of heating materials, ANHA agency documented today, a second death as a result of the severe cold of a 17-day-old infant.

According to the medical report obtained by ANHA agency, the direct cause of death is pulmonary gastrointestinal bleeding, while the indirect cause is cold injury with low platelets, which directly led to his death.

It is noteworthy that the infant Hussein Abdullah Kibar (17 days old) is the second child to die as a result of the cold in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh after the child Wissam Sido (4 years), with fears of a high number of deaths, among children and the elderly in particular, if the siege continues on the two neighborhoods. and Shahba County.
