​​​​​​​Manbij administration protects people against effects of Turkish private war

 In parallel with the military attacks on northern and eastern Syria, the Turkish occupation state escalated its media war, spreading false news in an effort to confuse minds, mislead public opinion, and dismantle the social fabric in northern and eastern Syria.

 On this issue, the co-chair of the Legislative Council in the Democratic Civil Administration of the city of Manbij, Muhammad Ali Al-Abo, said, "The Turkish occupation state is working through its air strikes on northern and eastern Syria, and its media war to displace the indigenous people from their areas, to occupy it and settle other people in their place, to change the demographic  Region".

 In the face of this, the Civil Administration of Manbij and its countryside during the past week held meetings with the people to inform them of developments in the region.

Al-Abbo said about the importance of these meetings: "There are many channels that talk about the political, military and social reality and the latest that northeastern Syria is exposed to in particular, but each of them speaks according to its whim. There was a distortion of the facts, so we decided to be in direct contact with all our people in Manbij and its countryside, to put them in the correct form of political and military developments.

 In turn, the co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals in the city of Manbij, Ahmed al-Youssef, considered the Turkish media escalation one of the methods of special warfare, said, "Northeastern Syria is subject to attacks and threats simultaneous with a major media war."

 And he thought that the purpose of that, is intimidating the people, pushing into chaos, destabilizing security and stability, and dispersing the thoughts of citizens, saying: “The media war is one of the special methods of war practiced by colonial countries against peoples yearning for freedom."

 Al-Youssef warned against this kind of war, especially the media war, especially the young group within the societies, pointing to "the need to pay attention not be drawn into everything that the Turkish occupation state is promoting, and to have political and social awareness."

 And he held the responsibility of educating the people of northern and eastern Syria, for intellectuals, officials and politicians, "It is the duty of intellectuals to educate all segments of society, the first of which is the young group."

Al-Youssef stressed that the people's revolutionary war is the way to confront all methods and tools of war, whether military, private, or economic, noting what he means by saying, "The people's revolutionary war is popular resistance, and any people subject to threats and attacks have the right to defend themselves and their land with all they possess."  strength and energy.”

 He added, "When the people are cohesive and united, they cannot be defeated by any weapon whatsoever, as the people's power is the main force at the present time."
