TEV-DEM calls on worldwide to support no-fly zone in NE Syria

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) confirmed, during a statement, on Thursday, delivered by Zainab Hasan, the administrator in the Women's Office of the Democratic Society Movement, at its headquarters in Qamishlo, with the participation of representatives from the federations and committees under its roof, that "with the continuation of the attacks, and the attacks by the Turkish occupation against the gains made in NE,Syria, especially the bombing of the warplanes and UAVs that invaded the sky of the region, despite the presence of America and Russia, the attacks and crimes of the Turkish state still pose a threat to the lives of hundreds of thousands of defenseless civilians from the region and the displaced who they resorted to it as a result of the state of security and stability it is witnessing.”

The statement stated, "As a result of the violations committed by the Turkish occupation state in front of the eyes of the whole world, from the escalation of violence in many ways and with various internationally prohibited and immoral tools and weapons, the Turkish attacks are still targeting defenseless civilians and carrying out a new massacre every day that is added to its criminal record full of massacres and crimes." war against human rights.

The Democratic Society Movement expressed its support for "the campaign that the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria will launch on the tenth of December on virtual communication platforms, to impose an air embargo on northern and eastern Syria and stop the Turkish war machine from committing more massacres and war crimes against civilians."

At the end of its statement, it called on "all humanitarian and human rights organizations, particularly the United Nations and all local and international civil society organizations, to unify the position regarding the crimes committed by the Turkish state against civilians, and to participate and support this campaign to protect our people from the brutality and tyranny of the Turkish occupation state."
