Isolation must be lifted on Ocalan leader

Leader Abdullah Ocalan has not been able to meet with his lawyers and relatives since May 2019. Leader Ocalan's al-Asr Office confirmed on August 7^th that leader Abdullah Ocalan had not benefited from his specific rights in domestic and international law for three years, and that all requests for a meeting made after the lawyers' meetings with the leader on July 27^th, 2011 and May 2^nd, 2019, had been unlawfully rejected.

Egyptian writer and journalist Ilhami Meligi, speaking to ANHA’s agency on the subject, said: "The Turkish authorities are pursuing an aggravated policy of isolation against leader Abdullah Ocalan; aware of his pioneer role with the Kurds, any breakthrough from leader Abdullah Ocalan would be a powerful boost to the Kurds in their struggle for their rights in the four Kurdistan parts.”

"The Turkish authorities, with their abusive practices towards the Internationalist Leader, affirm beyond doubt their constant fear of him and his intellect even in the walls of detention," he said, "What you mind if he is destined to come out, this will certainly be the beginning of the end of this repressive fascist regime."

Ocalan is qualified to play an active role in resolving the region's outstanding crises and halting military conflicts

“Many of hostility actions are being practiced by Turkish authorities in which it seeks to the outbreak of unrest in the region, though their military and security, or through terrorist tools represented by terrorists’ organizations, Ilhami Meligi, explained. This explains many of its practices, particularly Ocalan’s ideology that he represents a symbolism of struggle  

"The Turkish authorities, through their fascist practices towards leader Abdullah Ocalan, reveal their deep hostility to freedoms, and the vast gap between it and democracy and freedom, adopted with the slogans the freedom and democracy as method to trick its people by adopted political Islam, when they reach to take power, reveals their malicious faces and dictatorial approach.”

Turkish regime must be exposed

Ilhami Meligi touched upon the many initiatives launched to break the aggravated isolation imposed on leader Ocalan and to achieve his physical freedom. "All initiatives demanding the leader's freedom deserve to be saluted and appreciated, but more moves and ideas are required to expose the brutal practice of the Turkish regime and to turn to international human rights organizations, especially the European ones, with documentation demonstrating the practices of the fascist Turkish regime."

He stressed the need to write articles supporting leader Ocalan and exposes his intellectual creations that could contribute to stability in the region of the Middle East, which is experiencing bloody events, and also work on holding simultaneous vigils with international meetings and raising slogans with some of his thoughts. as well as the production of documentary films documenting the leader's career and ideas, as well as the struggles of Kurds and translating those films into all languages in Arabic, English, French and Turkish, through it reveals the active presence of leader Ocalan's thought among his Kurdish people and how this people will not stop their struggles until they attain their legitimate rights and the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.
