​​​​​​​Former Iraqi PM confirms: PDK funds Turkish genocidal war against the Kurds

 At a time when most citizens of southern Kurdistan suffer from living and economic crises, the Barzani family receives daily more than 170,000 barrels from the Kirkuk and Nineveh fields, and smuggles it to the Turkish occupation state.

 In this context, reports revealed earlier that people from the Barzani family, headed by Masrour Barzani, are investing money from oil to buy companies, real estate and luxury cars in foreign countries.

 The former member of the Iraqi Parliament's Oil and Energy Committee, Ghaleb Muhammad, confirmed in an exclusive interview with our agency that "the Barzani family rules Kurdistan, with security, partisan and family power that it exercises over the citizens of the Kurdistan region."

 "The region's oil is in the hands of the Barzani family, and the bulk of the oil goes to Turkey at a cheap price, and from Turkey it is sold to other countries," Muhammad added.

 He stressed that "the ruling families in Turkey and the companies close to those families get from 11 to 12 dollars per barrel, and there is no accountability for that."

 Muhammad pointed out that "oil smuggling from the region to Turkey is carried out through Turkish companies, and the bulk of oil production is carried out through Turkish companies, such as ( Günel Energy) and (Beit Oil), in addition to the presence of companies close to the Barzani family such as  (Car, Steyr Group, Salahuddin and Kurd Oil), which have close ties to Turkish companies and the Erdogan family.

He added, "The Barzani family does not serve Kurdish citizens at all, and of course we are talking about 72% of Kurdistan's oil imports go to transportation, brokers (close to the ruling family in Turkey), service companies (from the Barzani family and the Talabani family) and companies that produce oil (  Günel Energy and Turkey’s Beit Oil), so the imports that enter the budget in the Kurdistan region are only 28%.”

 He explained that "72% of the region's oil imports go to party and family companies and neighboring countries."

 At the end of his speech, Ghaleb Muhammad denounced the employment of the Barzani family, "The Turkish planes, tanks and armored vehicles that bomb our areas, penetrate and occupy our lands in the Kurdistan region, their expenses are from the region's oil, and their fuel is from the Kurdistan region's oil. Kurdistan's oil benefits Turkey more than the citizens of the region."
