K.Star recalls Gina Amini and calls on women to unite in the struggle against the anti-women system

This came in a statement issued by Kongra Star, 40 days after the murder of Gina Amini by the Iranian authorities on September 16, after she was tortured by what is called the "Iranian Ethics Police" under the pretext of not adhering to the conditions of hijab.

The statement referred to what Iran is currently witnessing after the killing of the young Gina Amini, saying: "Iran has been witnessing for more than a month a widespread protests following the killing of the young Gina Amini during her detention at the Ethics Police, during a visit to Tehran after she was accused of not wearing the hijab properly," and the statement described the "Iranian Ethics Police" as lacking values and morals.

And added: "the protests and demonstrations have erupted in most cities of Kurdistan Rojhelat, and the masses have went to the streets and squares denouncing the crime of Iranian regime and its tyranny repeating  the slogan "Jin Jiyan Azadî", to spread like a storm and volcano to all parts of the world," noting "and the outbreak of the revolution of Gina Amini pushed the peoples to continue their revolution against the repressive Bodies of the authorities until the collapse of the dictatorial regime."

As a result of the large-scale mass uprisings, "hundreds of Iranian youth and girls have lost their lives, and hundreds of protesters have been arrested," stressing that "despite all this, it has not undermined the determination and courage of the uprisings, especially Iranian women, in confronting the bloody oppressive authoritarian regime and their rejection of its oppression of the Iranian people and continuing through demonstrations and sit-ins in the streets, schools and universities."

And condemned in the Mullahs regime' practices against unarmed protesters and its use of violence against them.

"When we look at history, we see that women played a great role, participated on the battlefields, fought fierce and strong battles, and became pioneers with strength."

Added: "Today they are targeting the model of a free woman with all their possibilities, and what we are witnessing today of repeated crimes and violations against women are a continuation of that dark ideology spread in the region in general."

In the conclusion of its statement, K.Star affirmed, "In order for humanity and humanity to enjoy a free and dignified life, women in the first place and all of humanity are required to stand together to oppose and combat this dark thought." called on women to go out to the squares to strengthen and escalate the pace of struggle according to the approach of a free woman against the oppressive and hostile regime.
