PYD calls on Kurdish and democratic forces to resist Turkish chemical attacks

On Wednesday, the General Council of the Democratic Union Party issued a written statement to the public opinion about the chemical attacks of the Turkish occupation, which resulted in martyrdom 17 guerrilla fighters.

At the beginning of the statement, the party said: "Once again, under the sight of the international community, Turkey's fascist regime is committing a new crime against our Kurdish people and all the peoples of the region, Yesterday the leadership of the People's Defense Center announced that 17 fighters were martyred." It added, "We in PYD strongly condemn these repeated crimes against our Kurdish people and the Kurdistan Freedom Movement that defends the Kurdish presence".

" We warn the countries of the region and the international community that their silence about Turkey's crimes would destabilize region security". The Democratic Union Party held the international community and the United Nations fully responsible for the terrorism practiced by the Turkish regime against our people, and stressed that their silence and lack of boldness in confrontation makes them partners with Turkish occupation".
