​​​​​​​Al-Mahbash talks about the achievements of AANES and the challenges it faces

During the celebration of the fourth anniversary of the establishment of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, ANHA agency monitored the speech of the co-chair of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Abd Hamid al-Mahbash, through which he touched on all the achievements of the Autonomous Administration in the region after its establishment.

He pointed out, "that the establishment of the AANES was one of the most important outcomes of the third conference of the Syrian Democratic Council, which was held on July 16, 2018 in the city of Tabqa."

He explained, "Despite the difficulties and challenges it faced, based on the greatness of its goals, within the available resources and capabilities, to be a responsible institutional system, expressing the aspirations of the people in north and east Syria, and today it has become a political, administrative and military system that emulates decades-old systems."

He pointed out, "This administration was established, when the regime in Syria abandoned its duties to protect the Syrian people in these areas, and withdrew and left this region to face its fate in the face of extremist terrorist organizations, such as Al-Nusra and ISIS and others, so its people defended it, They made huge sacrifices as a price for its liberation, protection and preservation.

Al-Mahbash added, "The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria was and still sees dialogue and negotiation between the Syrians as a basis and a starting point for resolving the Syrian crisis, which Syria has lost a lot because of this.

Al-Mahbash, "We call from here, all honorable Syrians and all political and patriotic forces, not linked to external agendas, to search for a safe way out to solve the Syrian crisis, to preserve the sovereignty of our country and Syria, and to prevent the division that is taking place today in Syrian geography, returning the IDPs, refugees and to their cities, towns and villages.

Al-Mahbash stressed, "Syria is for all Syrians, and let us achieve their ambition for Syria to be a democratic, pluralistic, decentralized state, and we all have to return the occupied lands to Syrian sovereignty, starting from Afrin to Idlib, Jarabulus, A'azaz, Al-Bab, Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain and returning its people to it."
