Activities of Raqqa Consultative Forum kick off

50 delegates from national figures, political parties, human rights defenders, and civil society organizations will participate in the consultative forum, held in the Mishwar hall in the southern part of the city of Raqqa. According to the preparatory committee for the forum, which is scheduled to last for two consecutive days, the forum will discuss 3 main themes: the political situation in general, the importance of decentralization, and national identity to be the cornerstone of the Syrian political solution and access to democracy and decentralization.

The forum began with a speech delivered by the member of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference of Democratic Forces and Personalities, Janda Muhammad, in which she spoke about the importance of the forum at the present time, and said, "As you know, the Syrian crisis has left behind it eleven years, with no solutions looming on the horizon".

Janda Muhammad confirmed, " that the most important pillars and ingredients for the revolution's success are, in the first place, a clear and well-defined theoretical vision consistent with the goals and principles of the revolution and the aspirations of the Syrian people."

The consultative forum continues to talk about the importance of the forum, during which the member of the Advisory Committee of the Conference of Democratic Forces and Personalities, Ilham Ahmed, addresses the political situation.
