​​​​​​​Raqqa notables: We will defend our land and honor against any occupier

Turkish occupation continues with its brutal crimes and barbaric bombardment of north and east Syria, as it escalated its barbaric attacks on the city of Kobani, Tal Tamr, Qamishlo and many areas of the border strip, amid international silence in general, and the silence of the Damascus Government in particular.

In this regard, ANHA’s agency held a meeting with the sheikhs and notables of the Raqqa clans, who condemned the Turkish bombing of Syria in general, and north and east Syria in particular, and affirmed the clans' support for the Syrian Democratic Forces in the face of the Turkish occupation and the resistance until victory is achieved.

Notable Albu Khamis clan, Sheikh Mustafa Hamsho, said, "We extend our hands to all parties concerned with resolving the Syrian crisis, to sit at the negotiating table, and Syria will be for all Syrians. Because north and east Syria is a region of security and stability, Turkey is bombing it and destabilizing its security."

"The sheikhs of the region's clans and their sons are with the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration in one trench, and we will support each other to defend our land, whatever cost," he stressed.

Mustafa Hamsho concluded his speech by saying, "We will not allow anyone to interfere in our internal affairs, and we will not accept the occupation of our areas. We will cultivate love among the people of the region and strengthen our solidarity in the face of the Turkish occupation."

The sheikh of al-Musa clan al-Zahir Ibrahim al-Hadi condemned the Turkish bombing of north and east Syria in Kobani, Tal Tamr and the Qamishlo countryside, and said, "The Turkish attacks on these areas are an occupation, and Turkey is bombing civilians, children and women, in addition to killing a number of regime soldiers."

He asked, "Where are the regime forces and where are the weapons they brought to repel this aggression?" He stressed, "These attacks aim to kill all Syrians, and Turkey is working to export its internal crisis to our regions. Where are the United Nations organizations and the Geneva platform to stop these attacks and bombing?"

He continued, "Syria is one, from Daraa to Qamishli, so why this division, and we are here in a position of self-defense and will not stand idly by. We will defend our land and our honor against any occupier. Resistance is the only solution to reach our goals and we will not give an inch of our land to anyone."

Al-Hadi stressed, "We stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces, and we ask all our people in Syria to stand with us to confront the Turkish occupation."
