Tabqa notables: Iraqi- Syrian tribes have to join together against Turkish occupation crimes

Turkish occupation state continues to launch its attacks, through UAVs and artillery, on North and East Syria and Southern Kurdistan, and is committing massacres against the peoples of the two countries, amid international silence over the crimes of the occupation.

Following the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation state in Zakho district in Southern Kurdistan, the demands of the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Arab clans in Raqqa, Tabqa and Deir ez-Zor increased for the sheikhs and dignitaries of the Iraqi clans, to unite together to confront and expel the Turkish occupier from Syria and Iraq.

In this regard, Sheikh Hamed al-Faraj spoke to ANHA’s agency, who started his speech by saying, "The Turkish occupation state is carrying out massacres against safe peoples, the latest of which is the Zakho massacre in the Kurdistan region, which killed more than 35 people, either dead or wounded."

"Turkey's goal is clear and explicit, which is to restore its expansion project in the region represented by the neo-Ottomanism," he added.

Hamid Al-Faraj also called on all the sheikhs and components of northern Syria and Iraq to rise up and unite in the face of the ambitions of the occupying Turkish state and its mercenaries, and to demand the closure of the Turkish embassy and the boycott of Turkish goods.

Al-Faraj stressed the need for the guarantor countries and the international community to intervene to stop the drone flight over the region and impose an air embargo to protect the people from the oppression of the Turkish occupation.

For his part, the sheikh of the al-Wahb clan, Jamal al-Nahiter, confirmed that "Turkey continues its bombing operations that affect many areas in North and East Syria and Iraq, specifically Southern Kurdistan, in conjunction with the Tehran summit."

And he stated, "Turkey launches several brutal and indiscriminate attacks on our areas to cover its failure and achieve its goals. Dozens of civilians, including women and children, were killed or wounded in the Turkish artillery bombardment of the Zakho area, and we did not see any international accountability."

Sheikh of al-Wahb clan, all Arab and Iraqi clans to unite to expel the Turkish occupier from the Syrian and Iraqi lands.

At the conclusion of his speech, Jamal al-Nahiter held international organizations and the United Nations responsible for the Turkish transgressions and demanded that they be held accountable and pressure them to stop their crimes in Syria and Iraq.
