SDF arrest ring of spies involved in martyrdom leaders and fighters

SDF's Official Website said, "After a careful monitoring process, the special units of the Syrian Democratic Forces arrested a cell of spies that includes three agents (a man and two women) who worked in espionage activities for Turkish occupation in the regions of NE Syria."

It added, "They collected information and movements of a member of the Military Council Sawsan Berhat, and submitted it to the Turkish intelligence, as this caused the martyrdom of the leader, Sawsan, and her companions, the leader in the Tal Tamr Military Council, Akeid Karaki Laki, the fighter in the Tal Tamr Military Council, Rubar Hasaka, and the fighter Saifullah. Ahmed in a brutal air attack of the Turkish occupation on August 19, 2021, as well as martyrdom of the leader Rinas Roj, the member of the Military Council of the People’s Protection Units (YPG).

According to the Website, the spies are: YAS (man), YAS (woman), and RHH (woman). They "confessed receiving instructions and missions from MIT."

It stressed that "based on the proven documents, as well as the confessions of the criminals, they were transferred to the competent judicial authorities to receive the punishment for their criminal acts."
