Iraq files complaint to UN Security Council

In a time where KDP is trying to clear the Turkish state, Iraq files a complaint to the UN Security Council against Turkey. The complaint comes as a response to the attacks by the Turkish state against Bashur(South Kurdistan) and Iraq`s sovereignity. In their complaint, Iraq demands an urgent meeting to be held by the United Nations Security Council.

On July 20, the Turkish occupation state bombarded a gathering of Iraqi tourists in Perekh village of Bashur`s Zakho district. 9 people were massacred and a further 23 people were injured in the attack.

According to RojNews, Ahmed Sehaf, spokesperson of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry made a statement saying that a complaint was filed against Turkey to the UN Security Council which said : “In the filed complaint, Iraq demanded an urgent session to be held regarding the violations comitted by the Turkish state against Iraq.”
