​​​​​​​KNK: We believe that our people will celebrate theirs Eids in freely in future

​​​​​​​ The Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) congratulated the Islamic world and the people of Kurdistan on the blessed Eid al-Adha, and wished that the Kurdistan people would celebrate their occasions on their free land in peace and security.

 The Executive Council of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) issued a written statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, blessing this occasion to all the peoples of the Islamic world, especially the people of Kurdistan.

 He stated: "Tomorrow will coincide with the blessed Eid al-Adha, unfortunately, once again. We celebrate the Eid in a difficult and complicated situation, as the genocidal attacks on our people continue in all regions of Kurdistan.  Rojava and Southern Kurdistan day after day, and a strong war has been taking place in the Zab, Matina and Avashin regions since mid-April.

 The war of existence

 The statement noted that "the Turkish occupation state is trying to carry out another occupation attack on Rojava during the Eid, and the Iranian government's pressure on the people of East Kurdistan continues, and social problems are deepening day by day, and on the other hand, economic and social problems continue in southern Kurdistan."  The problems of the neighboring regions have not yet been resolved, and the war of existence and non-existence is underway in Northern Kurdistan.

 Our people no longer accept injustice and slavery

 The conference stated that the Kurdish people and freedom fighters are waging a democratic and national struggle in the face of genocidal attacks targeting the four parts of Kurdistan, and said: "Our people no longer accept injustice and slavery, and they believe only in their will, their leader and their fighters."

 At the end of its statement, the conference wished: "We hope and believe that our people will celebrate their holidays and celebrations on their free land in the near future in peace and freedom. On this occasion, we congratulate our Kurdish people and the Islamic world, especially the detainees and freedom fighters."
