Breaking the Russian hegemony over the European continent from an economic point of view

In her turn, the Head of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, read the semi-annual general report of the Women’s Coordination in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and the report stated that politically, “when crises are deep, penetration into them leads to destructive wars, as the global system is experiencing a suffocating crisis called the structural crisis. Therefore, we note the emergence of many hot spots, for example in the Far East Taiwan, in the Middle East Iran, and in the European East Ukraine.”

Ilham Ahmed added: "There is no doubt that the Ukrainian-Russian war has opened many files, which were somewhat rigid, as all parties or countries are trying to move and determine the compass of their interests, either to preserve them or to gain more."

And she indicated: "Europe was dependent on importing natural gas from Russia, and after the construction of a new gas pipeline called Nord Stream 2, Europe would have become a captive in its hand. Therefore, this war was the reason for reconsidering Russia's relations with Europe, and the Europeans found the danger to them from the eastern side, after stagnating for a long time, the continent began to re-position its military as well, and therefore opened the way for NATO and America, to work on the deployment of its forces in the old continent.

Finding alternative gas lines to the 'Russian Nord Stream' line

Ilham Ahmed pointed out that what draws attention is Turkey's very limited role in the incoming changes, or rather, Turkey is absent from these developments and alliances, and this is what disturbs it, and she said: "All Turkey's attempts are to be an important part of the change project that started in Iraq in 2003, The events of the Arab Spring in 2011 aroused Turkey’s enthusiasm for justice and development, and it began with its own projects, far from taking the interests of the world’s dominant powers into account, namely the neo-Ottoman project by land and the blue homeland project by sea.

Ilham Ahmed also drew attention to the policy pursued by the dominant powers and their attempts to eliminate the victories and progress that took place and to exploit all this for their own personal interests.”

She said, "What we always seek is the development of women, their training, their economic independence, and their struggle against the authoritarian mentality, but what we sometimes see in some women is that they still lack the freedom to make exclusive decisions and submit to customs and traditions, which leads to women's regression."

Emphasizing, "What we must do as women in the Autonomous Administration in all its councils and in organizations and women's movements, is to activate the role of women in all political, military, economic and social fields by taking their role in all aspects of the administration, starting from the communes and councils to the bodies, and then preserving all Its gains during the revolution, which was known as the Women's Revolution, led and pioneered by women.

'The necessity of activating criminal action to reduce femicide

We have to organize all women in society and reach every woman in north and east Syria, and let her know her rights, and what she must do in order to reach her freedom and independence, in addition to providing job opportunities for women because of the deteriorating economic conditions we suffer from, and this is the most common aspect that the women are exploited and making them go to illegal ways.

The report of the Head of the Executive Body of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, included a number of proposals, the most prominent of which were (opening a clinic to treat drug addicts, opening a summer camp for young women, joining the Women’s Body to the Supreme Council for Planning, opening consumer institutions of a female nature that work to secure Job opportunities for women, the need to activate criminal work to increase the ability to combat crimes, especially women's murders

While the meeting continues to be closed to the media, the meeting of the Women's Coordination in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria is scheduled to produce a number of outputs.
