Roj News Agency quoted the member of the Syndicate administrative body, Muhammad Aqrawi, in a press conference held today, in Hewler, that according to the report of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, 22 cases of violations against journalists were recorded.

These violations varied, according to the report No. 29, which is a semi-annual report, "between breaking and seizing journalists' belongings, mass expulsion of journalists from media institutions, and closing some media channels."

Aqrawi also said that "these violations were committed against 62 journalists throughout the region, including 12 cases of arrest, 8 cases of preventing coverage, 3 cases of breaking journalists' tools, and 11 cases of expelling journalists from media institutions, with one case of closing media institutions."
