Koçer: attack on Farhad Shibli is an attack on democratic nation project

A mourning tent for the Vice co-chairmanship of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hassan Koçer, Farhad Shibli, has been erected in the district of Derik near his house.

Under his tent of condolences, ANHA’s agency held a meeting with his companion, Hassan Koçer, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, who said, "In the personality of our comrade Farhad and his companions, we remember all the martyrs of freedom and bow in reverence for their sacrifices. This attack on the personality of the martyr Farhad is an attack on the democratic nation project, which the martyr sacrificed and struggled to achieve for many years, by forming communes, councils, and AANES’ institutions, and played an important and major role in it.

He continued, "Martyr Farhad left his mark and impact on the conscience and heart of every Kurd. He struggled from Afrin to Derik, passing through the areas liberated from ISIS, such as Tabqa, Manbij and others. This attack is an attack on the brotherhood and solidarity of peoples and on the system of AANES."

"We hold the governments of Iraq and the KRG responsible for targeting our comrade Farhad Shibli, and we demand an investigation," he noted

At the conclusion of his speech, he indicated that "a funeral ceremony will be held for comrade Farhad Shibli, and the city of Derik will be declared a mourning in honor of his soul."
