A group of journalists detained in Amed by the Turkish authorities are held in solitary confinements.

Yesterday, 20 journalists were detained in the city of Amed under directives issued by the Public Prosecution.

According to the Firat News Agency, those detainees are held in solitary confinements and not allowed to access lawyers.

The detained journalists are:

Dicle Firate Serdar Altan, Xwebune Mehmet Ali Ertas, Zeynel Abidin Bulut, Safiye Alagas, Gulsen Kocuk, Aziz Oruc, Omer Celik, Lazgin Akdeniz, Mehmet Sahin, Suat Doguhan, Ram,azan Geciken, Mazlum Dogan Guler, Elif Ungur, Remziye Temel, Abdulrrahman Oncu, Kadir Bayram and Mehmet Yalcin.
