Tal Rif'at residents: we will stand up to Turkish occupiers

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan since the middle of May the last continues to adopt the discourse of war and threats against the district of Tal Rif'at in northern Aleppo city and other areas of North and east Syria. 

On the issue ANHA carried out interviews with a number of people in the town of Tal Rif'at.

Citizen Amina Mohamed put Erdogan to the lie at the beginning of her speech, that alleges to create a 32 km security zone on the border with Turkey affirming that the area is already safe and secure without the presence of the Turkish occupation forces and the affiliated mercenary groups.  

Amina added that '' going back to history we will notice that allegations of the Turkish president Edogan are lies regarding the region. When after was occupied under Olive Branch it brought nothing but destruction, murder, displacement and femicides by the Turkish occupation forces and the mercenaries. How could we allow that Shahba be occupied. This is by no means acceptable to us. We will not allow Turkish occupation army enter our areas''. 

Amina called on the international community to take a firm and a quick action to the Turkish attacks and threats against the North and East Syria and Shahba in particular.

Amina said: '' we, as Arab women in the Tal Rif'at district, we will stand up to the Turkish occupation state and the affiliated mercenary groups.

From his part, citizen Ahmed Umar condemned the threats made by Erdogan against the NES and to occupy Tal Rif'at, '' we utterly reject occupation with all its means, we are Kurds and Arabs, indigenous people and IDPs, we will stand up to the Turkish occupation state. We are attached to our lands and we will not allow occupiers in''.  

Umar said: '' we all know very well the intentions and aspirations of the Turkish occupation state to occupy our lands and to revive its colonial past, and to revive the Ottoman Empire, from the Mediterranean up to Mosul''.

Ahmed said from nearly four years up to date Tal Rif'at undergo shelling by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenary groups all under the nose of the Russian forces that are supposed to be guarantors.

From her part, Fatima Ahmed voiced her rejection to the Turkish occupation threats and attacks to occupy more Syrian territories and its interference in the Syrian territories. Fatima said the Syrian people is in grave need of a peaceful solution and averting military operations.

Fatima said Syria has become a filed for liquidating issue by the foreign powers that pas their interest at the expense of the Syrian people.

Fatima believes the solution lies in the Syrian dialogue and not in military approaches that bring destruction.  Sooner or later occupiers will leave Syria, she said.
