AA in Jazira call the people to escalate their struggle against Turkish aggression

The Democratic Autonomous Administration DAA in the Jazira region confirmed that the Turkish occupation policies undermine all efforts aimed at finding solutions to the Syrian crisis, as well as efforts to combat terrorism by the Syrian Democratic Forces, calling on the peoples of the region to escalate the struggle and join hands in the face of the dangers of Turkish aggression and support its forces defending its dignity.

This came during a statement issued by the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Jazira region, on Tuesday, in condemnation of the Turkish occupation state's threats against north and east Syria, in front of the council's headquarters located in Amuda district of Qamishlo canton.

The statement was read in Arabic by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, Nizera Khoriya, in the presence of members of the council's bodies and offices.

At the outset, she stated, "The Turkish occupation state continues its hostile policy and creates more chaos in Syria and the region in general, through its occupation of areas in northern Syria and its support for terrorism and its continuous practices and violations in the occupied areas, and its daily targeting of our areas in Tal Tamr, Zarghan, Ain Issa, Kobani and al-Shahba and targeting citizens’ mosques, churches and service facilities through bombing and drone strikes.”

The statement stressed that the Turkish occupation state "has recently escalated its threats to expand its occupation under false pretexts, and its projects to establish settlements in our occupied areas in Afrin, Serêkaniyê/ Ras al-Ain and Girê Spî /Tal Abyed with the aim of consolidating its occupation and changing the historical identity of our regions and changing their demography, as the occupied areas became after the displacement of indigenous inhabitants are camps and hotbeds for the terrorists of ISIS/ Daesh, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist groups, who have become a danger to the region and the world in general.”

The statement explained that the continuous policies and crimes by the Turkish occupation are "nothing but to undermine all efforts aimed at finding solutions to the Syrian crisis and efforts to combat terrorism by the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Global Coalition, creating chaos and striking stability, which gives an opportunity for ISIS terrorists to insurgency once again.”

The statement condemned the crimes of the occupation by saying: "We in the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, while we condemn and denounce the occupation and settlement policies and the daily terrorist practices and violations against our regions and people, demand the international community and the guarantor powers - Russia and America - to carry out their responsibilities towards these ongoing violations and put an end to for its practices.

The Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region concluded its statement by emphasizing the continuation of the resistance in the face of the attacks of the Turkish occupation, and added: "At the same time, our people, with all their components and their Autonomous Administration, will continue to defend our areas, and we will not allow the Turkish occupation to implement its expansionist ambitions and settlement policies, Our choice will be to resist and defend the gains of our people, and we call on our people to escalate the struggle, solidarity and unity in the face of the dangers of Turkish aggression on our regions, end its occupation and support and support its forces defending its dignity.
