Political parties in Euphrates region decry Turkish fascist settlement project

The statement, which was delivered by the co-chair of the Council of the Future Syria Party in the Euphrates region, Farhan Hajj Issa, on behalf of the political parties, in the Free Women’s Square in the city of Kobani, came at a time when the Turkish occupation state seeks to complete its project of demographic change in the occupied areas, after the displacement of its indigenous inhabitants. and settling mercenary families instead.

Participating in the statement were: “The Future Syria Party, the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party, the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Accord Party, the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Parti ), the Kurdish Leftist Party in Syria, the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, the Kurdistan Republican Party and the Democratic Union Party (PYD).

The statement said: "Since the start of the Syrian crisis, the Turkish occupation state has played malicious role, as it opened its doors to terrorist groups and passed them to Syria, and made Syrian territory a battlefield to settle scores between the various factions and organizations with all their names."

The statement also drew attention to the fact that "the occupying state has disregarded all international laws and norms after its direct intervention in the Syrian crisis and its occupation of Syrian lands, as it did previously in the Sanjak of Alexandretta, occupying and annexing it to its lands."

Commenting on the recent statements of the officials of the fascist Turkish state regarding the return and resettlement of more than a million Syrian refugees in the occupied areas, the political parties in the Euphrates region said in their statement: "It is a direct endeavor by the Turkish occupation state to obliterate the identity of the region and imposing Turkification policy."

In its conclusion, the statement condemned the silence of the Damascus Government about what is happening in the northern borders without movement, which makes the region vulnerable to the activity of terrorist organizations and undermining civil peace and coexistence.
