Turkey deports 1st batch of Syrian refugees from the border gate of Girê Spi

The Human Rights Organization, Afrin - Syria, said on its official page on the virtual networking sites that the Turkish occupation authorities have deported the first batch of Syrian refugees to be deported to Syria, indicating that they have deported about 100 people from the gate of the city of Girê Spi / Tal Abyad in north and east Syria; to implement the settlement operations announced by Erdogan in mid-April.

The Turkish settlement project is described as the most dangerous Turkish project aimed at dividing Syria and changing the demographics of the occupied areas in preparation for annexing into the Turkish state.

Turkey had previously done the same in Sanjak of Alexandretta when it separated it from Syria in 1939, following Turkification policy and cultural obliteration against the indigenous people.

The Turkish occupation state continues to exploit the silence of the international community and the use of Syrian refugees residing on its lands, in addition to changing the demographics of the occupied areas, especially Afrin, with the participation of Gulf associations and organizations with the aim of separating it from the rest of the other Syrian regions.

Following statements made by officials in the Turkish occupation state about the project to resettle one million Syrian refugees in the occupied areas, the occupied Turkish state escalated the pace of its attacks against NE, Syria with the aim of displacing its population to prepare the ground for its settlement project.
